Sunday morning and cloudy in Kingston. The furnace was going when I woke up.
We’re having our coffee. I can do a passable latte by grinding my own beans, mixing the coffee half and half with milk and then microwaving it so it is hot. No foam but tasty nonetheless.
I am impressed when people can easily recall famous quotes on interesting topics. I watched the video on the Gym Jones homepage and Mark Twight alluded to an Aristotle quote. Wikepedia claims Aristotle lived from 384 BC – 322 BC. The quote: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit”. One interpretation that I like, is that my actions transcend my words. In the end I am judged by what I do, not by what I say. It also means to me that habits I build, or don’t, are those against which I should measure myself.
I have a LOT of housework to do. Finish the laundry, washing / vacuuming of floors, ….like that.
I wrestled a big strong kid yesterday during BJJ class at Martial Arts Planet. I did so knowing my back was not even close to right so today I will do a light workout to stay loose and then maybe go for an easy run. “Cindy”: 5 pullups, 10 pushups, 15 air squats. As many sets as I can do in 20 minutes. It’s a Crossfit workout. Good form required. I’ve done 19 sets before but won’t go that hard this time. POST NOTE: I managed 14 sets.

[...] sets in all. 1 better than last time and 6 better than when I started using it as a test again. Good form. That’s a record. Now 21 is calling my name. [...]
