Laundry, Dishes, Breakfast, Vacuuming, Floors, BJJ, Kingston Santa Claus Parade

Weekend.

I woke at 2:30 and was awake ’til 4:00.   I was too tired to do dishes last night so this morning I was greeted by a kitchen ravaged by a dish and cutlery tornado.  Oi.  Before I could tackle that though I had to get the Gi’s in the laundry for BJJ class at noon.

Cooked ham and egg omelette’s and had a coffee with my older son and discussed world conflicts of all things.  Who has the bomb and why money plays a part in soldiers not having the best body armour.

Then vacuuming because it’s been a week.  Floors to follow.  I’m taking a break now to play some guitar.  Finger picking is getting easier and I am starting to become quite sensitive to the guitar being out of tune.

We’ll do the noon BJJ class at Martial Arts Planet.  And I just remembered that my dreams last night were full of BJJ matches and weird choke setups.

THEN…Santa Claus Parade and lighting of the Kingston Christmas tree.  It means the downtown is full of people.  Good opp’ for a coffee, and a walk, and maybe some shopping.

Post note:  Parade was lame but the company more than made up for it.  Forgot where we had parked the car so thought it was stolen…briefly.  We skipped the Kingston Christmas tree, grabbed some sushi instead, and then watched a movie.

When I got home the boys had both laptops tuned into Guild Wars.
