This is my weapon of choice for tracking my runs. The screen displays 4 pieces of data live as I run and I have 3 screens. I leave elapsed time, current heart rate, distance run, and calories burned on the screen but there are many more optiond.
It’s a GPS, heart rate monitor and watch and it appears to be bombproof. I upload all the info to my laptop.
Petzl headlamp
My friend Dan gave me this for Christmas 2 years ago. I’m still on the first set of batteries. It’s a tiny headlamp that I use for running on dark trails. It has a number of different settings in red or white light at high and low, or flashing intensities.
The best use so far? Avoiding worms on night time runs after it has been raining.
