Me at Starbucks – looking tired. This is while I was waiting for my car to be repaired after it got crunched in the parking lot at Cataraqui Mall. A hot summer day and the cafe was cool.
It turns out that Starbucks has free internet service so I spent the time figuring out my new netbook.
“Bring your kids to work day”. The best part was the latte and breakfast sandwich from Starbucks on the way in. We talked the whole way.
He didn’t like the higher platforms and walkways but was happy to hang with dad for the day. The last bend before home has an old church back from the road and it was backlit with setting sun.
At the academic awards. In my shirt, my dress pants, my shoes and he had the audacity to look way better than me in MY clothes.
It frightens me that he has grown so fast but I am pleased he is doing well in school.
Oh, and the pants are a bit short on him. Yes that’s right, he’s two inches taller than me!
Wow. It’s a while since I put a photo on here. Here’s my new bed! No more sleeping on the floor!
